Empty Nesters

 So about 30 minutes after my last bird post where I said he was about the leave the nest, he did. This is him with the Daddy bird on the chain link fence about 15 feet behind our wood fence.

 Then there was two. The stayed a whole day after their brother left . Sam and I saw the last one leave the nest the next morning (Friday) at about 7 am.

  

 I miss my birds!!! I keep looking out my kitchen window out of reflex. I have my pigeons, but I still really miss "my" birds. Oh well. I guess I can let the kids go play in the backyard again.
