SCRAPBOOKING

OK, so Piper is almost 18 months old and I have yet to start a scrapbook for her. I like to scrapbook, I'm just not very good and don't have alot of money. But I decided, if I wait till I have money, Piper will never have a scrapbook. Needless to say, neither will any of my other children. I love looking at my scrapbook my mom has done for me. I want Piper and the rest of my pack to have one and then they will love me as much as I love my mom for putting one together for me. I went the other night to my wards "Scrapbook Night", and that motivated me enough to go to Michaels and spend money to get started! I even found I do have a few hours a day to work on it. Nap time, Elmo's World, and of course after Piper goes to bed. I already have a few pages done!!! I just have to go to Wal-Mart and print out a bunch of pictures and I will be on a roll! My goal is to get as much done as I can on Piper's so when Thaddeus comes, and I don't have any free time for a while, I wont be so far behind that I just give up and qiut! I don't think my mom would ever let that happen though.

Something that I started doing with some ladies in my ward: We do a swap night. We all make a layout, and bring unassembled copies of it for all the women there. Currently there are 5 in the group, so I make 4 copies that they put together themselves. Then I get 4 other layouts!! Less work, less time figuring out papers and what you're going to do.....it's great. And you get ideas of your own. I love it. We have one this weekend. And it FORCES me to scrapbook. And it's time OUT of the house, spent with other women and no kids.

I AM SO GLAD YOU'RE SCRAPBOOKING!! Wal-mart has good stuff, too. You can get a big pad of coordinating paper for $10.

I think I am addicted now. I stay up all night doing it since that is the only time I go unbothered for any length of time! I wake up in the morning not really liking the last few thigns I did, but workable!!

I saw it in an Ensign. It was one of Joseph Smiths biological twins names. Since I am a twin and looking for a "T" name, it fit! And it goes with the middle name really well. We wanted all of our kids to be teased equally because of their names!
