Updates.....

OK so we went to the doctor the other day and had my 2nd ultrasound and my echo. The echo wasn't as scary as I imagined it, but I was still exposed for some stranger to see, but it is over and I should find out the results in a week when I go to my ob appointment. The ultrasound was great, of course. He was very active and had no problem showing us he was a boy! He was trying to hide his face with his hands the whole time. Kinda like he was sleeping and trying to ignore us!

Sam is busy, busy, busy, with Law Review. When he is home, during the day, it is for a nap> So I know he is working hard, but Piper and I miss him alot. Last year he always made it a point to come home by 5 to eat dinner, then play with Piper, and be here when she went to bed. If he had to leave after and go back to school he would, but this year, so far, he has missed dinner a few times. It is hard to tell Piper that daddy is at school when she asks for him at dinner. I know I should be thankful law school is only 3 years and he will only be busy like this, this year, but we still miss him.

I have become obsessed with scrapbooking. As soon as Piper goes to bed, it is out till midnight! I need to slow down, but just can't. I am at Micheals every other day getting more stuff! Piper loves the scrapbook to. She wants to look at it all the time. She loves turning the pages and seeing mommy, and daddy, and babies (herself) and Papa and ammy (Grammy). It keeps me busy when I spend nights at home by myself. Not so lonely if I am distracted by other things!

Piper is awesome. She has now become my back seat driver. If we sit at a stop light to long she starts telling me to "GO". I guess she has heard me tell other drivers that one to many times. I shouldn't be surprised. She repeats everything I say, and do! She may look just like her daddy, but she is a mini-mommy!!! She is getting frustrated with my lap though. She keeps trying to sit further back on my lap and that space is running out and she doesn't like when I carry her cause my tummy gets in her way, and when we play I cant throw her around as much anymore. If she only knew it is only going to get worse! Poor thing! She loves to pat my belly and say baby, and wrap her babies up in her blankets and rock them. She will fill the big sister role very nicely. (I hope!)

That's great that you're loving scrapbooking so much!! It definately helps with long, lonely nights. And the more you do, the better you'll get. Sorry Sam's gone so much. It's not easy. I know what you're going through. It won't last forever, even though it kinda feels like it.

It's so weird for me to think of Piper talking when the last time I saw her she was just crawling. I love that she's getting bossy. =D You did say a mini-mommy, right?! =D love you guys.
