We have been to the new ward for 3 weeks now and I have been in Nursery with Thad every week. No surprise right? The little nursery has 10 boys and 1 little girl. One of the leaders left town and left the other leader all alone. (Her mom has breast cancer was having emergency surgery out of state.)anyway, since I am in there and have been in the nursery mode for the past 2 years, I just started helping and doing things. This week the Primary came in and asked if the leader needed help. She said "No, I have.... what's your name again?" Nice huh? My only purpose in this life is Nursery. Sad! Anyway, it was a good thing I was in there today. Thad was playing by himself, (he left my leg and actually went 5 feet from me) and this kid came up and tried to take his toy. Thad told him no, so the kid bit my son! Hard, broke the skin!!!
(I took these photos 5 hours after the bite took place!) Thad kept saying, "Momma, owie. Momma, owie" I wanted to smack that kid! He did it again to another boy so at least he wasn't just picking on Thad. The leader took him to his mom. The mom said he has that problem and would go in with him till he stopped! Maybe Thad will not bite Piper anymore, now that he knows it hurts!
I was taking pictures of Thad's hand and Piper wanted a photo op! She is so cool! I think I would be here friend even if she wasn't my kid! She wears that tutu EVERYWHERE. I found it for 3 dollars. Normally 20! I might have paid 20, she wears tutus everywhere, "just in case she wants to dance." (Piper's exact words!)

So my mom used to do daycare. There was a kid with a biting problem. She realized one day that if you (lightly) bite your own arm, it feels kinda cool on your teeth. So she figured that the little boy was still young enough that he was probably not being malicious, he just thought it felt cool. So the next time he did it she took his hand and (very gently) bit his arm. When he realized that it didn't feel good on the other end. . . he stopped. Again I say very gently bit. ha. she didn't full on bit the kid. just enough to cause a little bit of discomfort and explain. (BTW- she asked his mom if he did it again if she could. So CPS doesn't need to be called) HAHA! Not suggesting you should bite, but maybe the kid just hinks it feel cool. anyway. . .
