My itty bitty teeny weeny tiny baby

We made the hour and half drive over to Valpo the other day for Odi's 6th month check up. She weighs in at (hold on to your seats) 13.8 pounds. She is in the 5th percentile for weight, and 25th for height. The doctor said she is healthy and perfect in every way, just teeny. She can roll over (although she hates to be on her tummy so she doesn't ever roll), she can sit up all by herself, eat solids and feed herself certain foods. (The doctor said cause she is so small I need to feed her 2 to 3 times a day along with all her bottles and try to throw in an extra feeding somewhere, I am going to do nothing but feed 3 kids ALL DAY LONG!) Her favorite things, besides drooling buckets, are watching her sister and brother. Playing with toys, singing all the time and talking. She loves to splash and play with her siblings in the tub. When she realizes she is getting in the tub, she starts kicking and laughing about to burst with excitement! And most of all she loves her Mommy. She won't let anyone else even look at her, unless I am holding her, then she will look at them, but you still can't talk to her. Snotty little thing isn't she? I can tell she just wants down to go play, but once she gets down she starts to scream cause she can't get there yet. Maybe when she can crawl she will be happier! I would be happier too!!! We love our baby Odi. As stressful as it is, that she wont let ANYBODY else take care of her, I love that I have a baby that loves me so much! I have been very lucky that all of my kids have "loved" me so much. They are all Momma's kids! I absolutely LOVE IT! Odi was our "surprise baby" (as I affectionately like calling her) from the very beginning. She is the 4th best thing that every happened to me! Mommy loves you Odi May, and I love that you barged your way into our family when you did! You were definitely a blessing in disguise! On a side note: The doctor wants me to make an appt. for Thaddeus. He coughed when we were in the office and the doctor said it wasn't normal. I told him that he has had that bad cough his whole life (I failed to mention to the doctor, that when he was a baby and I told him about the cough, he said it was nothing). He said he thinks it sounds like asthma and he needs to get on an inhaler. Come to find out, Sam had it when he was a baby too, so in another week, we can make the hour and a half drive back to the doctor and have him looked at. Maybe I should find a doctor over here!

Oh, yeah! they're 6 months, aren't they! I need to get aubrey in for her appointment. Odi looks so much like Aubrey. it's crazy. She's started moving and it's a blessing and a curse! I know I need to take more pictures, but I have so many pics on my camera that haven't been printed! I am at my limit and am having to delete pictures to take more. But I'm glad that you take and post so many!

Awwww. So little. Alina was that size at 4 months! Sorry we didn't make it to lunch on Friday. We wouldn't have been able to get there until close to 1 and I figured the party would have fizzled out by then. Maybe next time!
